Meet Kelly

Kelly Kitson is an emerging artist based in Abbotsford, BC. Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Kelly moved to Canada with her husband and daughters in 2007.

People who know Kelly describe her as an open-hearted, approachable personality with a bold and cheeky, fun-loving charisma. Those who know her well also understand her ability to sincerely empathise with the full breadth of human emotions, and they see the compassion with which she embraces friends and family in need.

In her art, Kelly draws meaning and inspiration from many sources, such as her fascination with the visuals of space, from natural landscapes, and from moments she shares with others, be it everyday interactions or with those she shares time with through her grief support work. Kelly recognizes the difficult human journey involved in healing from trauma and often celebrates the strength of others within her artwork.

Kelly is a compassionate and empathetic artist who shares a part of her heart in every piece of art she creates.
